Just a quick update

I know I haven’t updated in FOR-EV-ER! But…things are a little crazy around here. Anyway — Rocky passed his Network Plus certification test last week. That man is the smartest dude on the planet!  Especially with those computers!

Nathan and Reagan are growing up so fast! Nathan’s got his first loose tooth. That thing will be falling out any day now. Reagan is sleeping in her big girl bed now! Woohoo! The crib is gone! It’s kinda hard to imagine not having another baby to put in that crib. We’ll see what the future holds!

I’ve got one more summer session and the fall semester and then I will be graduating!! I’m so ready to finish this business…I’m exhausted. The class I’m taking now requires me to read 8 books in 4 weeks. Talk about pressure! This, too, shall pass.

I hope to remember to post some pictures on here soon.

Busy…all the stinkin’ time!

So…I realize that I haven’t updated our blog in quite some time. However, in the meantime I have completed 2 of my classes for this semester, Nathan finished up his soccer season, and we started baseball on Monday! Whew! I don’t think I could add one more thing to my schedule. Reagan’s growing like a weed and saying things like, “What are you doing?” Another phrase that she loves is, “This is a mess!” I don’t know where she gets that from. Right now she’s having to take a butt-load of medicine because allergy season sucks…big time. But, hopefully she will get better soon.

Nathan had tubes in his ears and his adenoids out last month. He seems to be adjusting well. He can hear, which is a great improvement!

Retracting my previous blog

The paci thing is NOT going well. She loves her “ta-ti” and refuses to go to sleep without it! Any tips would be greatly apprectiated. We’ve come to the point where we’d rather just let her have it. It’s easier that way and I don’t exactly have the patience these days to persevere through this trial.

Cold Turkey

So…we’re finally doing it! We quitting the pacifier – cold turkey! Reagan will be 2 next month, so I thought now would be the best time to kick the habit. She’s doing quite well…napping as I type with no paci and no crying! Snaps for Reagan!!

In other news, I have lost a total of 10 pounds since the new year! Yay for me! There are definitely no swimsuits in my future, but maybe a happier, healthier me.

And so it begins…

Thanks to my good friend Denise, I decided it was time to start blogging like the rest of the civilized world!  This is a place where we can update you about what’s going on in our lives and you can let us know what you think!  Here’s a quick update about our little family:

Rocky is 26…working at a job that he absolutely LOVES (and I’m soooo proud of him).  If you have a computer problem, he’s your man!    : )  He’s a great husband, a wonderful daddy and a servant of God.

That’s me (Stephanie)  I’m 27 and currently working on my bachelor’s degree in general studies with a social sciences concentration.  My plans when I graduate (hopefully in December 09) are to get a masters degree in elementary education.  I stay at home with my babies and love it!  I’m about to start a new semester in school (18 hours) and try to keep my sanity…your prayers are much appreciated!

Nathan just turned 6 in December.  He’s excelling in his kindergarten class…tied for the best grades, but not for the best behavior!  ;  )  He loves soccer and hanging out with friends.  He’s been bouncing up and down on his trampoline incessantly since he got it for his birthday…let’s join in prayer that he doesn’t break a bone with that wonderful toy!

Reagan is 23 months old!  Can you believe it?  She loves princess stuff, dancing and bananas.  Stay tuned for some photos and, if I can figure it out, a video of her banana eating skills!  She’s a sweet little girl (with a little bit of attitued mixed in) that loves her big brother like crazy!
